Girls Camp - Day 2

We started off the day getting ready the big hike to Stewart Falls up Mt. Timpanogos. Our Priesthood - Brother Clark and Brother Hein - were so nice to make our PB&J sandwiches. Then we each got to build our custom sack lunches and we were ready for the day.

Mariah and Jannelle gave a great devotional.

Here we are at the base of the hike. Back: Sister Price, Allie, Natalie, Sister Marriott, Juilana, Chandi, Kynz, Jasmine, Sam, Alaynah, Paytene, Sister Bird, Jannelle, Sister Rich, Sister Haroldsen. Front: Maddie, Jessica, Jayden, Mariah, Pearl, Sister Hein, Sister Clark and Sister Tidball.

Look at this view! Can you believe that there is still snow in June?!

After the hike, everyone learned that they could do hard things. We had time for some rest and then made "hobo" dinners . Everything tastes so much better outside. Thanks to our Priesthood for helping to cook them in the fire. Volleyball and basketball were also played during the day. We ended the night with a devotional by Allie where she talked about faith being like a mustard seed that can grow within us. She gave us each a mustard seed that she had made glow-in-the-dark so that we could see it. Then, Brother Hein shared his thoughts about how uniquely beautiful we are . . . inside and out. We had a great day!Harper totally loving the s'mores
