WE BELIEVE! Stake Youth Conference Day 2 - Special Needs Youth Carnival

Day 2 started with breakfast in the pavilion and then a devotional by Sister Colleen Terry, an institute teacher at UVU. Sister Terry gave a great talk about how it's important to go up to people, introduce yourself and look people in the eye. She also talked about being proud to be a believer. It was inspiring and helped get the day started with everyone meeting and talking to each other.

We put on our annual carnival for the Special Needs Mutual. Each ward was in charge of food/treats and an activity. Our ward had face and hair painting, snow cones and a soccer kick activity. We had so much fun seeing the youth smile as they got their colorful hair or special designs on their face. The soccer game was a literal kick and we all cooled off with refreshing snow cones.

After the carnival, the stake put on a competition of water games ending with a huge water fight. It was a great way to cool off after a busy day.
